I wear and have worn many hats in my life: mother, wife, athlete, and former business owner, just to name a few. These life experiences, along with over ten years as a Realtor®, have given me the skills to effectively guide buyers and sellers in attaining their goals.
Whether I’m guiding first time buyers toward their dream or assisting a seller moving on by choice or circumstances I am privileged to help people achieve their goals. There are few things as satisfying as handing over the keys to a new home to a joyful couple.
For most people purchasing or selling property is one of the most significant financial decisions they’ll make. Experience and continuing education to keep up with changes in the industry give me the tools to provide the advice and information that will make those decisions easier.
I have been married to the same great guy since 1983. We have two sons and one grandson. We are terribly proud of our sons, both of whom are USMC veterans that honorably served in the war on terrorism.
I enjoy horses, snowboarding, gardening, do-it-yourself projects, camping and hiking.

In 2001 I earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation. Currently I’m working on the e-Pro course which teaches excellence in the use of technology. I currently sit on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) steering committee of the Northeast Washington Association of Realtors (NEWAR). I have also served on several subcommittees over the years. This year I headed up the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) benefit auction for NEWAR. That auction exceeded the previous highs for funds raised.
As a detailed orientated person I am able to recognize issues early in the buying/selling process before those issues become problems that could kill a deal. For instance, I represented sellers whose property had a shared well. Title research showed no joint maintenance agreement. Knowing from previous experience this would be a potential drawback for many buyers I advised my clients accordingly and put them in contact with an attorney competent in drafting a proper agreement. This foresight and action ultimately resulted in a favorable sale, which closed on time for my clients
